Nature Immersion
Soak up the wildness and abundance of nature all around from the eyrie of your hammock. As the year progresses enjoy the buzz of grasshoppers and bees enjoying the meadow, followed by collecting apples from your own private orchard. Use the binoculars to watch the many birds of prey soaring in the vast skies above and at night, listen to the Tawny owls calling. If you're really lucky you will get to hear the eerie call of the Long Eared Owl. hear a cuckoo, or spot a fox, deer or even a stoat. There is no road traffic noise here.
Open Air Bathing
Step straight into the sunken wood-fired hot tub without having to leave the deck. When darkness falls, festoon lights add a touch of magic to the silence. Star bathe, your drink of choice in hand. Come morning, invigorate yourself with a cold water bucket shower - or two!
Outdoor Feasting
Treat yourself to a breakfast hamper on the deck, enjoy a beer and barbecue and as the sun sets, wander over to the orchard and cosy up by the campfire as darkness falls.
Comfort and Character
Enjoy the Mid Century glamour of the wagon, complete with original wood panelling, crystal glass lights and even a built in drinks cabinet. Although it sits in a meadow, it has the comfort of mains electricity, instant hot water, shower and flushing loo. Bedding and towels are 100% organic cotton.
Adventuring Out
Explore the River Wye nearby by foot, paddleboard or canoe. Go bike trailing in the Forest of Dean or day hike to Garway Hill, Venture to the mountains at the borderland of England and Wales, and wild dip in one of the little tarns on the Blorenge.
